Turns out our La Quinta rental was the highlight of our trip! The home is beautifully appointed and CLEAN (much more than we can say of our previous rental), with plenty of room for us all to relax and enjoy the amenities; the favorite of which was the pool and hot tub. My family and I have stayed in many VRBO properties all over the world and this was one of the best ones in terms of overall experience! Check-in and check-out are easy and instructions are super clear. Communication was excellent, and management was extremely prompt to answer when we had a question. The house is on a quiet, well-kept street and is a short distance to shopping, restaurants, and other attractions. I especially liked the online house handbook that you can access via the QR code provided in the entryway. That made is super easy to access all sorts of information about the house and the surrounding area. The Alexa virtual assistant in the kitchen area is a nice touch as well and makes it easy to get all sorts of information about anything and everything. Scott the owner checked in a couple of times by email to make sure everything was going well and he was super welcoming. Shana the manager was very helpful and responsive when we had a question. I highly recommend this home if you're looking for a beautiful, modern, clean, and comfortable home for a relaxing getaway. We'll definitely be back! Thank you to Scott and to the manager Shana! Definitely safe and germ free. Sanitizing extras are there if needed, remotes are even wrapped. Everything was easy to use, if there is a question all the details are provided in a digital manual. Fantastic communication with host and property manager. Both are responsive, no issues. The home is comfortable, beautiful decor and has all the luxuries you would need for a vacation. The pool temperature was perfect! We enjoyed the spa in the evening hours. Could not find one thing to nitpick! It was perfect for us, we are 45 and go to get away from the city. We frequent this area a lot, third time since May, my fiancé and I can definitely say this home blew other rentals out of the park. There is a big difference having lush yard vs a desert scape. Feels tropical. Definitely recommend!”

The listing stated that the den had a pull out couch as the 4th "bed", however, when we arrived, the den had a full queen bed in there. So we got our 4 "true bedrooms". The house had every tech amenity you could ask for (plus an instruction plague next to every device on how to use it. The pool, spa, jets, and outdoor lights were controlled by 2 iPads. For fun, there was a corn-hole set branded as "Desert Rock Oasis" in the shed. Tons of floaties. They even had a screen and a projector available (we did not use them though). It was stocked with condiments, spices, and plenty of "bar" accessories. The owner, Scott, really did put a lot of thought into what people might need and delivered all of it! He even checked in via email after the 1st day to see how everything. was going. Check out was smooth. We are a courteous and clean group. I like to think that we took care of the home like it was our own. We left it pretty much the way we found it and my full deposit has already be refunded back to my bank account. We really couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the weekend. I would definitely make this place my 1st choice the next time I do Palm Springs.”

The kitchen is very well-equipped with quality appliances, cookware and utensils. Everything you need is probably there. The house is nicely laid out with comfortable sleeping in all four bedrooms. The master suite is very nice with direct access to the pool. The casita is very nice, provides a second master suite, and was very quiet. The sleeper sofa in the office is very comfortable. The backyard and pool are beautifully landscaped and very private. The salt water pool and spa are fantastic. The pool and spa are controlled wirelessly via an iPad and it worked flawlessly. It was very easy to use. The pool heater is a high-capacity heater that can warm the spa from pool temperature (85) to spa temperature (102) in just a few minutes. We were free to adjust the pool temperature to our liking. The cost of heating the pool and spa are included in the nightly rate. There was NO additional charge for keeping the pool up to temperature. The pool and spa make this property an outstanding value! A word of caution to parents with small children. The house has easy access to the pool from three sets of double doors. If you have small children, you will need to keep an eye on them at all times. I am a regular VRBO customer and have rented more than 10 homes in the past few years. The owner (Scott) and property manager (Shana) were helpful and a pleasure. This home is an excellent value! And if you love having a pool and spa, this is the place.”

First, the owner and the property manager are VERY communicative and accommodating, making themselves available by email, text, and cell phone to answer whatever questions you have. Second, the home is very much as advertised. Often with these listings, the photos of the homes are better than the actual homes. Here, the house is legit; what you see is what you get. It's very well apportioned. It's clean. And it's equipped with every conceivable thing that any guest would need beyond necessities (e.g., Bose wireless speaker for outdoors, an Xbox for the kids, a TV in every bedroom and the living room, a Kindle, and outdoor play toys like bags and pool toys). They thought of everything. And the instructions that they leave are very comprehensive and down to every lastdetail, including how to turn the pool and jacuzzi heaters/jets on and off by the kitchen iPad. The outdoor yard and pool are magnificent and are definitely the highlight. The kitchen is also well stocked; we cooked and ate in 4 out of the 5 nights, and found everything we needed for cooking (including spices). The house is within a 5 minute trip to a Starbucks, a 10 minute trip to a grocery store, and a 20 minute trip to a Whole Foods, with several restaurants and shops within 10 minutes in La Quinta. Palm Springs is about 20-25 minutes away. All in all, the stay was fantastic. I would definitely stay again.”

Both the owner Scott and property manager Shana were a pleasure to deal with and the house went beyond our expectations. There was a welcoming bottle of wine awaiting our arrival and the addition of complimentary lip balms, makeup wipes, cotton buds, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, made the experience feel like a boutique hotel. Each room was tastefully decorated with lovely finishing touches that made it feel like a luxury home from home. The smart features and electronic entry points made our stay so easy and the kids loved having the Xbox and Alexa to boss around. The outside space is gorgeous and the additional patio area that replaced a tree was my favourite spot. The heated pool was the perfect temperature and the shed full of pool floats saved me from spending a small fortune at Target. Early mornings were spent doing Yoga on the shaded areas of grass, followed by breakfast in the perfectly stocked kitchen before spending most of our day just lounging around in and out of the pool. A stand out feature of the house for us, was the casita. A perfect retreat that was separate from the house, but enclosed within the house boundary. My eldest son loved having his own space away from his brother and sister. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the needs for cooking. The owner has taken into account all amenities for a traveler. The bathrooms are stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. He even has lip balm in the bathrooms so that you can protect yourself in the dry desert air. The pool was well maintained and very refreshing in the 100 degree heat. Although I never needed to see the manager, I did text her a couple of times and she immediately sent a reply. I would highly recommend this home for anyone choosing to head to the Palm Springs area. It is located in La Quinta in a very nice neighborhood. You are close to shopping, restaurants and multiple golf courses. We would definitely stay here again.”

“ This is a beautiful home with all the amenities anyone would need in the desert. If you like technology, this is the place for you. There are Alexa/Echo units in most of the rooms that control things like the lights and televisions. I found this helpful and annoying at the same time. If you don't have the correct phrase, there is no magic. I wasn't a fan of the mobile phone technology that controls the TVs in the bedrooms though. The phone doesn't hold a charge for very long and it doesn't work when it's plugged in. Since we kept falling asleep with the TV on and the phone unplugged, we weren't able to watch TV in the mornings. Not a big deal, but I did miss the "old" remote. LOL. I did love the keyless entry on the garage and doors. It was so nice not having to worry about actual keys or a card. The beds are comfortable, there are plenty of towels and extra blankets. The Casita makes this a perfect house for 2 families to share. The pool and hot tub are amazing. There are lots of pool toys and seating to keep everyone happy. It was easy to control the water temp, lights, and jets from the iPad. Appliances are top notch and there were some pantry items already there which was helpful. Did I mention the washer and dryer? We were able to wash our cold-weather clothes we wore there so that we didn't have to bring a second set to wear home. Overall, this is a fabulous place. I would definitely stay here again. You won't be disappointed!”

“ What an amazing 6 day get away. The Desert Rock Oasis should be called “Heaven Desert Oasis”. Shana the property manager was Phenomenal. She checked on us and was very friendly. She even brought a fabulous birthday bag with fun stuff for us to enjoy. Anytime I was confused I could text Scott the property owner and he replied within minutes. All the amenities were perfect. Enough towels to start a mini car wash. The kitchen….was my favorite place besides the pool and the super comfy beds. My only suggestion is maybe a ceiling fan on the patio with additional lights. I forgot to mention [Amazon’s] Alexa….she said she would miss me but was also great help with weather, daily jokes and playing music while cooking. “ It took my girlfriends and I about four months to find a single weekend where all five of us weren’t either working or already committed to going to a wedding or some stupid baby shower – so when we finally nailed one down for our annual Palm Springs wknd, we weren’t gonna waste it on anything less than perfection. This place was the chilliest – so hot and beautiful outside, so cool and plush inside. Every comfort you have at home and a dozen luxuries you don’t. It just felt like the people who own the home must’ve spent a ton of time thinking about what they would want out of their own vacation and then went out and got it for us. All brand new appliances, cabinets stocked with fluffy towels and linens, big, clean two car garage (that the two early birds beat me to), keyless entry, ipad control center for the pool, spa, lights and probably ten other things that went over my head. Chromecast on every TV and every subscription imaginable. Games, bathroom amenities, more pots and pans than I have in my own kitchen (and way nicer). I even did a load of laundry before we left. This house just had LITERALLY everything. I could go on and on but my phone is dying. Which reminds me they had extra certified apple chargers in the kitchen drawer. The kitchen is stunning and complete with appliances that were available to use. The floor plan of the house is perfect for a group (there were 7 of us) and very open.
